WE WERE VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE THE FIRST PUBLIC VIEWING OF THE TESLA ELECTRIC CAR DUE TO THE EFFORTS OF ERIC ERICSON AND THE GENEROSITY OF OWNER, SIMON HACKETT
THIS CAR HAS BEEN FEATURED ON ”TOP GEAR” AND WAS ON THE TRACK AT THE CLIPSAL 500 EXTREEM MACHINES DISPLAY

SIMON HACKETT WAS PRESENTAND IT WAS VERY INTERESTING TO HEAR HIS VIEWS ON THIS TOPICAL SUBJECT. SIMON IS A VERY COMMITTED ELECTRIC CAR MAN!

PERHAPS WE COULD START AN ELECTRIC MG PROJECT, JUST GIVE US YOUR CAR, (WE COULD RECORD THE EXHAUST NOTE)

Most electric vehicles operate under the assumption that driving is merely a necessary evil if you need to get someplace you can’t reach on foot or bike. The result has been cars that are designed, built, and marketed in ways that refuse to glorify driving.

The people at Tesla respectfully disagree.  The Tesla guys believe driving is exhilarating (but those of us who are passionate about our MGs don't need to be told that).  And when you can soar along at top speed, knowing the only oil in the car is in the transmission (and not on your driveway), the only emissions are the songs from the radio, the ride becomes more enjoyable still.
