The club is looking for members to come to the aid of long term hospital patients in a simple and effective way. Can you help?The 4Bs - BENT & BUCKLED BIKERS BRIGADE - is a sub-committee of the Motorcycle Riders Association (SA) and one of its goals is to provide help and support for hospitalised motorcycle riders and their families. One of the simplest and most effective ways to assist patients in passing the time is to provide them with movies to watch. To that end the 4Bs set up a DVD Library in the Royal Adelaide Hospital a few years ago. The DVD Library is available to ALL long term hospital patients; not just motorcycle riders. The scheme has been going well but from time to time, the RAH DVD library needs to be topped up and to boot, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre has asked if a separate new library can be set up for them.This is where MG Car Club SA members can help. If you have any DVDs you no longer need, some long term patient recovering in hospital will be very grateful. They can be movies, sport, TV classics or documentaries...it all helps.This is being organised through MGCCSA member Gary Davies.
