1997 MG-F Trophy race car for sale - Price: $12,000 ONO
(2011 S.A. MGF Trophy series championship winning car).
The engine has recently been rebuilt with new Omega forged pistons and upgraded oil ladder (no track running).
Brand new Velo Podium seat and harness have also been fitted.
Body work is in great condition and has never been involved in a major accident.

This car is the first MGF built by MoPro for the support category to the 2002 and 2003 V8 supercar series. The car comes with a CAMS logbook and full roll cage.
Other features of the car include:
- set of 4 Toyo Proxes R888 semi-slick tyres on MGF rims + 4 Federal 595RS-R semi-slick tyres (not on rims)
- fibreglass front and rear bumpers
- sports exhaust system
- independent hydro-bag suspension (most MGFs have front & rear systems, this car has independent systems on each corner)
- EBC yellowstuff brake pads and slotted rotors
- Velo racing seat
- 6 point racing harness (12 months old)
- solid rear subframe mounts + much more
The car has consistently lapped Mallala in high 1:20's (best time 1:27) and is a great car for other motorsport events (hillclimbs, motorkhana's etc.). The photos of the car are from it's most recent motorsport event at the Targa Adelaide rally. The car does have an overheating issue, however was still running when put away after the event. Regretful sale but the car needs to go to make way for a new project.

As mentioned the car is fully restored and everything has been rebuilt end to end, top to bottom. Its a new car now and ready for competition, be it circuit race or to be enjoyed as a sprint/competition car. I have the entire restoration documented with respect to photo's of every component rebuilt before and after. Unfortunately I have to consolidate and this project drew the short straw so my need to consolidate is your good fortune.
