FOR URGENT SALE MGC ROADSTER Bit of background, the car was a US import, Mal West owned the car for a number of years and I purchased it about 10 years ago. I think that it was originally yellow. The motor was rebuilt by Octagon about 6 years ago, it sounds great and is very strong. It has a fibreglass bonnet with the easily repairable aluminium one as a spare. It is a manual 4 speed plus electric overdrive. I have hardly used the car and it has been garaged the whole time. It needs some tlc but it has all the bits. Wanted A few years back a past member, Brian Jenkins, on completion of the restoration of his MGTF. Brian left a set of metal patterns for the timber kit, as used for his TF with some one at the club rooms. There were approx. twenty metel plates made from ‘colour bond’ sheet coloured ‘rusty red’ on one side and grey on the other all tied together with wire. Brian cannot remember who he gave them to. The reason for this request is as I am restoring my TD’s timber I would like to borrow these patterns. If anyone has knowledge as to their where-abouts can you please contact me.
